Indoor Optical Cables
Indoor communication optical cable is specially designed for cabling inside buildings. Its jacket is mostly flame-retardant PVC, meeting indoor fire safety codes, and it is lightweight, soft and easy to bend. It comes in types such as drop cable and indoor bundled cable, with no heavy armoring, making conduit installation convenient. Low-smoke, halogen-free (LSZH) versions are available, producing less smoke and lower toxicity in a fire to protect personal safety. It is mainly used for optical routing in equipment rooms, corridors and offices, connecting patch panels, termination boxes and user outlets to carry broadband and surveillance signals. Its protection rating suits normal indoor ambient environments; it is not suitable for outdoor direct burial or aerial installation.

Outdoor Optical Cables
Outdoor optical cable is mainly used to connect communication nodes between cities and build backbone networks, supporting the transmission of integrated services such as voice, data and video. For urban access networks, it is buried under sidewalks and green belts to connect base stations, optical distribution boxes and user terminals, typically using 24-fiber or 48-fiber cable to meet the high-speed data transmission needs of 5G base stations, and requires anti-explosion and corrosion resistance. Along railways/highways, it is buried along the track or roadside, adapting to temperature variations, and suits direct burial, with metal armoring or rodent repellent additives protecting it from damage by rodents.

Power Optical Cables
Power communication optical cable is specially designed for power grid auxiliary communications, and is mainly divided into three types: OPGW (optical ground wire composite cable), ADSS (all-dielectric self-supporting cable) and OPLC (optical phase conductor composite low-voltage cable). Suited to installation on HV transmission lines, it features lightning resistance, strong immunity to electromagnetic interference, and high tensile and compressive strength, with an outer jacket resistant to high and low temperatures and UV degradation. Laid together with transmission towers and poles, it requires no separate cabling and carries power grid dispatch, relay protection and surveillance data. Widely used in substations and HV transmission lines, it is the core transmission medium of the power private network, ensuring safe and stable power grid communications.

Hybrid Optical Cables
A hybrid optical-electrical composite cable integrates the functions of optical fiber and power conductors, suiting scenarios where data and electrical power must be transmitted simultaneously. The conductors are multi-strand oxygen-free copper wires with a moderate voltage rating, insulated with plastic insulation for safe, stable operation. Fiber count, nominal cross-section and length can all be customized on request. The cable serves as the transmission line in broadband access networks - a new access approach that combines optical fiber and power copper conductors in one cable, solving the problems of broadband access, device power supply and signal transmission at the same time.

Vibration Sensing Cables
Sensing optical cable has a wide range of applications, mainly for infrastructure monitoring. Through distributed optical fiber sensing technology, it monitors parameters such as temperature and vibration in real time. Transmission lines use sensing cable for long-distance temperature monitoring to ensure stable power transmission. Dedicated oil-well sensing cable withstands temperatures up to 300 °C and is used for downhole temperature and acoustic monitoring. In coal mines, its immunity to electromagnetic interference makes it the preferred solution for underground safety monitoring. For tunnels, roads and airport runways, it prevents accidents through temperature and strain monitoring.

Special Optical Cables
Special communication optical cable is purpose-built for special operating conditions. Unlike ordinary indoor/outdoor cable, its structure is customized to the application environment. Types include flame-retardant, armored, rodent-resistant, submarine, tactical (field) and low-temperature aerial cable. Through metal armoring, water-blocking compounds and special jackets, it delivers enhanced resistance to pressure, water, gnawing by animals and extreme temperatures. With low-loss fiber units, it can adapt to harsh scenarios such as tunnels, mines, underwater and battlefield conditions. It is mostly used in rail transit, mining, offshore platforms, emergency communications and power engineering, ensuring stable optical signal transmission under extreme conditions.
