High-Speed Drag Chain Cables

As its name suggests, a drag chain cable is a special cable designed for use with drag chain (energy chain) systems and engineered for high-frequency dynamic motion. It is not simply an upgraded version of ordinary cable; rather, from structural design and material selection to performance parameters, it is a cable type developed around the core requirement of withstanding repeated bending, dragging and torsional mechanical stress, aimed at solving the problems of ordinary cables being easily damaged and having a short service life in dynamic environments.

Medium-Speed Drag Chain Cables

The conductors of drag chain cables use a bundle-stranding plus re-stranding process with multiple ultra-fine copper wires (for example, a single conductor is made by stranding dozens or even hundreds of fine copper wires each under 0.1 mm, and then multiple such bundles are stranded together again). This structure disperses bending stress to the maximum, so the conductors do not break easily even under repeated flexing. Some high-end products also tin-plate the conductor surface for enhanced oxidation resistance.

PUR Drag Chain Cables

PUR (polyurethane) or TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) offers three major advantages. First, wear resistance far exceeding that of PVC (5-10 times that of ordinary PVC), withstanding friction inside the drag chain channel and crushing by equipment. Second, strong tear resistance - even if scratched by sharp objects, the damage does not spread easily. Third, resistance to oil, chemicals and extreme temperatures (adapting to environments from -40 °C to +105 °C), enabling stable operation in complex scenarios such as industrial oil contamination, outdoor rain and snow, and high-temperature workshops.
