Recently, Asia Pacific Wire & Cable (APWC) won the bid for the indoor distribution communications and wireless coverage supporting project of the Engineering Management Center of the Shenzhen Municipal Public Works Bureau, thanks to its excellent product quality, mature technical solutions, and complete service system. The company will supply the project with HCAAYZ-50-12, HCTAYZ-50-22 two core coaxial feeder products, helping Shenzhen's key public buildings build high-speed, stable, full-coverage indoor and outdoor wireless communications networks and injecting new momentum into smart city construction.

As the core construction management body for city-government-invested projects, the Shenzhen Municipal Public Works Bureau focuses on the construction and implementation of major public buildings and municipal supporting projects. The Engineering Management Center project this time focuses on smart building infrastructure upgrades, with the core objective of building an efficient and reliable indoor distributed communications system and full-area wireless coverage network that meets the communications needs of multiple scenarios within buildings, including government office work, public services, and emergency communications. The project imposes signal transmission stability, low loss, and flame-retardant safety extremely high standards on environmental adaptability, with a strict bidding review mechanism implemented throughout, focusing on suppliers' technical strength, product track record, and service support capability. Winning this bid marks another important breakthrough for APWC in public building communications and fully confirms the industry's high recognition of the company's products and services.
The feeders supplied this time, the HCAAYZ-50-12 (1/2-inch flame-retardant type) and HCTAYZ-50-22 (7/8-inch flame-retardant type) coaxial feeders, are core products developed by APWC for indoor distribution communications and wireless coverage scenarios, fully matching the project's requirements for high-frequency communications, long-distance transmission, and complex building environments. Both products adopt a physically foamed polyethylene insulation layer + corrugated copper tube outer conductor structure and feature low attenuation, low VSWR, high power capacity, and strong anti-interference capability among other core advantages, minimizing signal transmission loss and ensuring stable transmission of 4G/5G signals, WLAN, and emergency communications signals. In addition, the products use a low-smoke halogen-free flame-retardant jacket, comply with building engineering fire safety standards, and can operate stably in extreme environments from -40℃ to +70℃, suitable for indoor distribution cabling and wireless coverage construction in large buildings, underground spaces, public areas, and other scenarios. In the project, the two feeders will be mainly used for RF signal connection between base stations and antennas and signal transmission in indoor distribution systems, supporting voice communications, data transmission, IoT coverage, and other functions within buildings, delivering users a seamless, high-speed wireless communications experience.
