With the theme “Exploring New Opportunities in Carbon·Building the AI Future”, the Xi'an leg, the second stop of this event, focused on the deep integration of the “dual carbon strategy” and “AI-driven manufacturing”, with in-depth discussions on frontier topics including green buildings, energy management, AI empowerment, smart operations, intelligent control, and building renovation. Experts and corporate representatives from design institutes, research institutions, system integrators, and well-known industry brands gathered in the ancient capital to discuss the innovation direction and future opportunities of the building intelligence industry.

Guests at the summit included Feng Zhiwen, Director of the Intelligent Building and Smart City Committee of the Shaanxi Civil Engineering & Architectural Society; Zhang Haitao, Secretary-General of the same committee; Prof. Li Yanbo, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department of the School of Energy and Electrical Engineering at Chang'an University; Liu Yiyan, Associate Professor of the Electrical Engineering Department of the School of Energy and Electrical Engineering at Chang'an University; He Xinrong, Deputy Director of the General Engineering Office of the Design and Research Institute of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology; Wang Rui, Chief Electrical Engineer of the Planning, Design and Research Institute of Xi'an Water Group Co., Ltd.; and Xiang Zhonghong, founder of Qianjia Zhike.   Opening Remarks  

In his opening remarks, Zhang Haitao, Secretary-General of the Intelligent Building and Smart City Committee of the Shaanxi Civil Engineering & Architectural Society, stressed that the building electrical and intelligent systems industry is at a critical stage of structural transformation. Driven jointly by the “dual carbon” goals and AI technology, the industry is shifting from traditional equipment integration to a new system architecture centered on energy efficiency management, carbon footprint tracking, and smart operations and maintenance. As buildings are a major source of carbon emissions, integrating green and digital approaches has become an inevitable path to achieving the “dual carbon” goals. As urban development moves from incremental construction to renewal of the existing stock, electrical and intelligent systems must also evolve from standalone control to smart platforms supporting low-carbon operation throughout the building lifecycle.
