The forum invited seven renowned experts from the national lighting industry to deliver technical reports and share insights at the event.Li Wei, Chief Engineer of CITIC Design and an expert receiving the Special Government Allowance of the State Council was invited to attend the forum and opened the event with a keynote titled “Research on the Application of DALI Dimming Systems in the Lighting Design of Command Halls”.

In his presentation, Li Wei shared the design methodology, core technologies, and latest research progress of the DALI dimming system in light of engineering practice, emphasizing that good lighting design requires electrical engineers and building architects to discuss and cooperate closely, striving to achieve “the organic combination of technicality and artistry, the perfect presentation of functionality and charm”. He originally proposed that the design and creation of lighting environments should fully balance “functional needs, cultural connotations, healthy ecology, physical and mental rhythms, green low-carbon, and digital intelligence” six key elements, and elaborated on and analyzed them comprehensively with typical projects as case studies. His design philosophy and innovative thinking sparked broad resonance and deep reflection among the lighting industry experts and audience present.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Hubei Illuminating Engineering Society, the conference honored the organizations and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to Hubei's lighting industry over the past decade in areas such as technological innovation, results promotion, engineering application, and lighting design.CITIC Design won four individual awards and one engineering award.

Li Wei together with the Deputy Director of the Third Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Design of CITIC Design Ni Kele was honored with the “2015-2025 Hubei Lighting Outstanding Contribution Award” (13 recipients province-wide); engineer Liu Xiaobo and designer Chen Xin of the Third Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Design were honored with the title of “2015-2025 Hubei Outstanding Young Lighting Designer” (10 recipients province-wide); the Nightscape Renovation Design of Hurricane Bay at the Wuhan OCT Ecological Culture Park (Happy Valley) was honored with the “2015-2025 Hubei Lighting Outstanding Engineering Award” (15 recipients province-wide).
