HYA-100 Pair Telephone Cable

HYA is an outdoor telecommunication cable with solid polyolefin insulated copper conductors, a moisture barrier, a PE jacket, steel-plastic tape armor and a PE outer jacket. It adopts a single-jacket structure: the cable is armored with plastic-coated steel tapes, and an outer PE jacket is then applied to complete the cable. It is mainly used for transmitting audio, analog signals at 150kHZ and below, and digital signals at 2048kbit/s and below. Under certain conditions, it can also be used to transmit digital signals above 2048kbit/s.

Product Applications

This product is mainly used for urban and rural telecommunication lines of the local telecommunication network, and is also suitable for private network lines connected to the public network
The outdoor armored mechanical protective layer increases the mechanical strength of the cable and improves its corrosion resistance; it is a telephone cable designed for areas prone to mechanical damage and corrosion
It can be installed in ducts or aerially, and is especially suitable for direct burial installation

Features

Conductor: annealed bare copper wire with copper wire diameters of 0.40, 0.50, 0.60, 0.70, 0.80, 0.90 mm
Insulation: high-density polyethylene; the color of the insulated conductors complies with the full color code standard
Insulated pairs: individual insulated conductors are twisted into pairs with different lay lengths and identified by specified color code combinations, reducing mutual interference and crosstalk between pairs with low power loss
Mechanical protective layer: 0.15 mm double-side plastic-coated corrugated steel tape applied helically or longitudinally over the cable; the steel tape surface is specially treated to prevent corrosion and moisture ingress
Shield: 0.2 mm thick double-side plastic-coated aluminum tape, corrugated (or non-corrugated), applied longitudinally over the core wrap with overlap joints bonded
Jacket: polyethylene (PE) jacket

Electrical Performance

DC resistance (20℃): 0.4mm≤148Ω/km; 0.5mm≤95.0Ω/km; 0.6mm≤65.8Ω/km; 0.8mm≤36.6Ω/km
Dielectric strength: no breakdown between conductors at 1 kV for 1 min; no breakdown between conductor and shield at 3 kV for 1 min
Insulation resistance: with each core grounded against the remaining cores, greater than 10000MΩ.km for air-core cables
Working capacitance: average 52±2nF/km
Far-end crosstalk attenuation: the average power of specified combinations is greater than 69dB/km at 150kHZ
Ambient operating temperature: -30℃～+60℃

Delivery Standards

Packaging: all products are delivered on standard reels; the wooden drums are made of solid wood with an anti-slip surface treatment for easy transportation and installation
Standard length: 305m (1000ft) per reel by default; if other lengths are required (e.g., 500m/1000m), please specify clearly when ordering
Customization: customized production of parameters such as conductor size, jacket color and pair count is supported; production lead time for custom orders must be negotiated in advance
