Central Tube Light-Armored Optical Cable (GYXS/GYXTW)

GYXS/GYXTW cable is constructed by placing 250µm fibers into loose tubes made of high-modulus material; the loose tubes are filled with water-blocking compound. A layer of double-sided coated steel tape (PSP) is longitudinally wrapped around the loose tubes. Water-blocking material is added between the tape and the loose tubes to ensure cable compactness and longitudinal water-blocking; then two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides and a polyethylene jacket is extruded to form the cable.
