Loose Tube Stranded Non-Armored Flame Retardant Optical Cable with Non-Metallic Central Strength Member (GYFTZY)

GYFTZY cable is constructed by placing 250µm fibers into loose tubes made of high-modulus material; the loose tubes are filled with water-blocking compound. The center of the cable core is a glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), and the loose tubes (and filler rods) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact and round cable core; the gaps in the cable core are filled with water-blocking filler. A flame-retardant jacket is extruded over the cable core to form the cable.
