Loose Tube Stranded Standard Armored Optical Cable (GYTY53)

The GYTY53 optical cable consists of 250µm fibers placed into loose tubes made of high-modulus material, with the tubes filled with water-blocking compound. The center of the cable core is a metallic strength member; for certain fiber counts, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded over the strength member. The loose tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the central strength member into a compact and circular cable core, with water-blocking filling in the interstices. The core is extruded with a polyethylene inner sheath, wrapped with double-sided coated steel tape (PSP), and finished with an extruded polyethylene jacket.

Standards: • YOFC GYTY53 optical cable complies with YD/T 901 and IEC 60794-1 standards.

The following measures are adopted to ensure the waterproof performance of the cable:

- Single steel wire central strength member

- Loose tubes filled with special water-blocking compound

- Fully filled cable core

- Double-sided coated steel tape (PSP) improves the moisture penetration resistance of the cable

- Excellent water-blocking material prevents longitudinal water penetration
