MTP®-12 fiber patch cord, F to F, UPC, 12F, OM3, OFNP, 0.35dB, Type A When used with trunk cables, MTP® patch cords allow data centers to seamlessly migrate to higher data transmission rates. They are typically used for intra-rack cabling. MTP® cables are a cost-effective alternative to time-consuming field termination, designed for high-density fiber cabling in data centers that need to save space and reduce cable management hassle. Since MTP®-12 also supports MTP®-8 fiber systems, it is also ideal for 8-fiber parallel multimode optical transceiver applications, such as connecting 40G QSFP+ SR4/CSR4 and 100G QSFP28 SR4 optical transceivers.
